Up 8am; more sun and just a few degrees warmer- upper 80's.

Wrote up the notes for the blog on 'THE FLOATING WORLD'.

Watched 'CALIBRE' (Netflix) A hunting accident in rural Scotland leads to murder- and more murders. Not bad.

1215pm headed on the bike to FitClub. Back in time for more prep for the book club tonight at 6pm.
45" Octane (Music of Nick Lowe) 45" Walk (COUNTERPART). 45" Recumbent Bike (read THE FLOATING WORLD). 45" Cross (COUNTERPART- 2 episodes). legs/ chest. 30" Old Style Cross (finished the interview with THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL).

I was surprised that the review of THE FLOATING WORLD was favorable- I would have thought the members would dislike it. 'The Church Lady' panned it- of course. 

Stopped at the County Market at Fairhills; $47 (forgot coffee filters and onions!).

'ALL THE QUEEN'S HORSES' (Netflix) A low-level official in Dixon, IL city government is able to steal $53 million dollars from a town of 16,000 over a period of twenty years, and the film shows that this is not all that unusual. Municipal corruption is an international phenomenon.
'HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER' (Netflix), first episode- Fifty-fifty chance if I continue with this one.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
