Up 845am- When I got back from the Brandenburgs I read on the couch, but was unable to finish, 'THE WHITE LIONESS', and didn't hit the hay until after midnight.
The hot and humid weather is back. Temps to crack 90 this afternoon, and a fair chance of a thunderstorm.
Watched Netflix disc, 'PRINCE AVALANCHE'. A remake of an Icelandic film called, 'EITHER WAY'. Lane and Alvin are doing roadwork after a devastating wildfire near Bastrop, Texas; almost an homage to 'THE ODD COUPLE'.
Watched the last hour of a bio on the Ramones at Amazon Prime.
240pm- biked downtown to drop the disc, check out the Blues Fest, and pickup Marky Ramone's book, 'PUNK ROCK BLITZKRIEG'. The Blues (Snooze) Fest seemed to be a bunch of old men with long hair listening to vaguely blues prerecorded nonsense. In their defense, 'the real blues band' was setting up.
Through the park/ Allen/ train track still blocked/ over to Monroe- dropped the disc/ checked the 'fest'? and over to the library to pick up Marky Ramone's book.
Out through Lincoln's Home/ 8th/ train track at the park is also closed/ so south on the sidewalk along 6th/ Wabash Overpass/ and on the machines at Planet Fitness right around 4pm.
45" Walk (COLD CASE). 45" Recumbent Bike (loaded some Ramones on Amazon Music and began the bio). 45" Cross (first episode of the next season of RAY DONOVAN). 30" Bike (read/ Ramones). 30" Cross (finished the interview with John Goodman; hometown boy from St. Louis).
Almost dark when I got home.
In the tub with the Marky Ramone bio and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Another, I AM A KILLER' from Netflix. A man with an IQ of 79 or 70 is on death row for killing an old woman that he shot in a burglary. He climbs in the bathroom window with a 22 rifle? That in itself should prove limited intelligence.
