For some unknown reason the Microsoft Essentials updated manually. This is the first time that it went through without stalling. What gives?

Up 820am; On the living room couch til 130am- reading/ napping. Today is another perfect summer day; sunny, breezy, and only to about 80.

Watched Netflix disc, 'THE COMMUTER'. Wildly improbable, but you can't take your eyes off the screen even for a minute. Liam Neeson is the commuter, and Vera Farmiga asks him to do one simple thing- mayhem ensues.

Watched the episode of 'THE KILLING SEASON' that I began last night- 'Gilgo Beach Killings', Long Island Serial Killer; L.I.S.K. Then, several YouTube updates of the killings. The local police are so riddled with corruption that these people should have nothing whatsoever to do with the investigation.

245pm; biked to Wabash PO and Planet Fitness. The day got away...

Another Netflix, 'I AM A KILLER'. Texas 1999. A guy breaks in to find his girl with another man. There's a struggle, and the other man is dead, and his girlfriend is shot in the face. She dies at the hospital, and it might be some kind of malpractice. As the case unwinds, it seems that the guy executed his rival- shot him in the back of the head. ....says he can't really remember. Another ambiguous Death Row Case.
20" segments called, 'EXPLAINED' (Netflix). The first was on English Cricket (Netflix), and another on 'the exclamation point'.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
