Th 8/9/18

Up 740am; warmer and sunnier- upper 80's.

Watched Netflix disc, 'THE MEDDLER' Susan Sarandon/ Rose Byrne/ JK Simmons. Sarandon's character manages the loss of her husband by micro-managing her daughter's life. A nuanced performance, and a very sweet movie.

Then, the first episode of Season 2, 'I'M DYING UP HERE'.

1230pm- on the bike to drop the disc downtown. Will try the bicycle pump? The bicycle pump is a dream come true...EZ to operate and gets the tires to the max! I put this off for far too long.
Through Washington Park/ East across So. Grand near the old Esquire/ in front of 1315 Walnut- almost didn't recognize it/ south of So. Grand east to 8th/ then north to the PO box on Monroe/ south to Edwards/ Lincoln/ Feldkamp/ over to LA Fitness. 1'30" on the bike.
45" Walk (COUNTERPART). 45" Recumbent Bike (A BED BY THE WINDOW/ Dream Syndicate). 45" Cross (COUNTERPART). 45" Bike (COUNTERPART/ TV). 30" Cross (2 episodes and finished the series of COUNTERPART).

The Brandenburgs arrived home about 4pm, returned the car, and went grocery shopping.

Home to soak/ read/ listen to The Lyres.... a forgotten/ fantastic group of the 80's.

Watched Amazon Prime, 'CAN'T STAND LOSING YOU.....SURVIVING THE POLICE'. Guitarist, Andy Summers presents his point of view of this punk/ rock trio. He was born in 1940 and had a pretty long history in London bands during the early and mid 60's....he was with Eric Burton in early 70's Los Angeles, and he was even up for the guitar slot in the Rolling Stones when Brian died.
