We 9/26/18- The Contemporary Book Club at 6pm

Up 815am; bright, sunny and temps barely into the 70's by late afternoon and 50's early.

When I turned the computer off yesterday afternoon I switched 'TV/ Computer' sockets in the back of the PC to see if it would solve the flickering issue. Maybe this was the problem all along.

Occasional flickering, but much improved....so far.

I wrote up 'SAVING FAITH' - David Baldacci for the blog.

Watched, 'ALTERED MINDS' (Amazon Prime) Judd Hirsch plays a famous psychiatrist who is dying of lung cancer. His wife and adoptive children gather for his final birthday, and revelations unfold. He worked for the CIA on their infamous 'Project MKUltra', and preformed mind control on his adoptive children. Many years before Hirsch's character was treating a Vietnam vet suffering from PTSD and this man kidnapped and terrorized the adoptive kids, and Tommy killed the vet with an icicle. The father only wanted to prevent them from remembering this horror, and it backfired. A very weird film, but worth a look.

1145am- reading info at Goodreads about 'LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE', then skimmed to the end of the book. Hit FitClub in the Accord around 1pm.

Wi-Fi was down; expecting repair between 5-9pm. Why the wait?

45" Octane (ODELAY- used my data). 45" Walk. 45" Recumbent Bike (read). 45" Cross. 30" Old Style Cross. Some of the weights; no videos today.
whirlpool.
Stopped at the gas station for a hot dog (Durkin/ Monroe). Wouldn't turn on the pump, so no gas.
Everyone loved the book, even 'The Church Lady'; she mentioned that she is an adoptive mother of an Indian boy. The other therapist is also an adoptive mother and they both agreed that the adoption sections in the book were fairly accurate.
Home by 715pm.
Another 'OZARK' from Season #2, and then episode three of Season #1.
