Up 7am; raw, cloudy, and temps to upper thirties and not as much melting as one would expect.
Watched Netflix disc, 'THE CUT'. The breakup of the Ottoman Empire during WWI causes a blacksmith to become separated from his twin daughters. He tracks them across Europe, to Cuba, and then finds one in rural Minnesota.
Received a call from Memorial Medical and I have a 'consultation appointment' with Dr. Angie Fenner at 800 No. 1st; Springfield Clinic- 2nd floor (Urology) 4pm Tuesday, Nov.27th
Janny texted that we had another adventure on Paradise Lane- He almost folded himself in half while using his bed controls- Would have made for a hilarious accident report, or even a better 'cause of death'.
Watched the first episode of 'HANNIBAL' (Amazon Prime) Downloaded #2 for later.
Dropped the disc at the Wabash PO, checked for boots at Carnival Shoe store; nada. Then, to Walmart for the Tamsulosin, , bought an electric blanket- $30, deposited the 'compensation check- Phoenix', and moved $1,200 from the checking to the savings at Homeland.
On the machines at the 'Y' 245pm.
45" Walk (#2 HANNIBAL). 45" Recumbent Bike (read PK Dick bio/ Fleetwood Mac). 45" Cross (THE MISSING). 45" Bike (finished Season #1 of THE MISSING; the kid was almost killed in a car accident the night he went missing, he lives, but the crook that was called to get rid of the body kills him because the boy was actually still alive. It ends when the father can't accept this, and travels to Eastern Europe still looking for his now 'teenaged' Ollie/ read more Dick). 30" Cross (watched the 'scenic walks' featured on the machines; you hike various scenic trails in the US and New Zealand....nice).
Home to soak and finished' I'M ALIVE AND YOU ARE DEAD' and began a Cormac McCarthy novel, 'SUTTREE'.
Watched an excellent 'Bonus Feature' to the book that I just finished- a 1979 interview with PK Dick . He doesn't sound unhinged whatsoever. Then watched the first episode of 'THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE' (Amazon Prime)....not the best Dick ....at all!
