Up 720am; raw, windy, cloudy, intermediate snow showers, but nothing sticks- low 30's.

Watched 'THE SECRET SCRIPTURE' (Amazon Prime) Rooney Mara/ Vanessa Redgrave. A woman is locked up in an Irish mental institution for fifty years. The Church allowed her husband to be murdered and took her baby son. When the asylum is about to be sold and turned into a resort, she's reunited with her son- he's the therapist. Not too corny, but maybe a little too romantic.

Watched the penultimate episode of 'MR. ROBOT', then a long Chat Wrap; included 'the reckoning' and an invite to The Olive Garden.

Then, the last 'MR. ROBOT', Season One. Another trick by Sam Esmail; after the final episode there's an interesting scene after the credits roll.

Messed around with the connections on the PC to remedy the flickering issue. I was able to change sockets and was able to loosen the screws on the adapter and the cord. I hope tomorrow morning will prove that the issue is behind me. And then headed to the 'Y' 230pm.

We got another inch or so of snow, and it's turning very cold- teens to single digits tonight.

Soaked, read 'PURE' to a tape of bands doing the music of XTC. Watched a 45" doc about Deep Purple (Amazon Prime), then some 'New Yorker' docs on Prime.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
