Up 715am; Frigid! low twenties early, sunny but only  just above freezing later.

Watched Netflix disc, 'MR. RIGHT' (Anna Kendrick/ Sam Rockwell). Anna Kendrick's performance was truly something different- sassy, unhinged, yet charming, but the tone of the film was off. With minor adjustments, they could have made the film more believable if Francis's (Sam Rockwell) 'super abilities' were reigned in a bit, and then the wacky premise of the film would be a little easier to accept.

Reading 1030am; PC on 'Sleep', and read 'NATCHEZ BURNING' for a little over an hour while listening to some Live Dave Edmunds and African stuff on a tape from Chris.

Then, two more episodes of 'MR. ROBOT'.

Watched an hour bio of Graham Nash (Amazon Prime). This was more like a Youtube interview, but the guy was very interesting; will check on Amazon books.
I tried to finish the last thirty pages of 'NATCHEZ BURNING', but didn't make it.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale.
