Up 715am; twenties early, to mid 40's later with plenty of sun.

Flickering issue is back, and I changed the 'personalize' format and that seems to help; not as severe as yesterday. Just In.... pressing on the connection cable seems to have taken care of the problem- not a good fix.

Watched 'THE GOOD SHEPHERD' (Amazon Prime), but it was just the trailer. Switched to 'HER' (Netflix). Joaquin Phoenix/ Scarlett Johansson; Odd romance about a guy who falls in love with his operating system. Great date flic for the modern world.

Then, two episodes of 'MR. ROBOT'.

Learned that my book at the library is in- why didn't I get a text? (I asked the guy, and he said that I should have gotten a text and an email)

115pm; the weekly cleaning, 2pm- to the library to pick up 'PURE', and over to LA Fitness.

45" Walk ('MISSING'- was able to download the rest of this series on Xfinity- it seems unnecessarily difficult). 45" Recumbent Bike ('PURE'/ King Crimson Live- 1969; downloaded this morning from Hoopla). 45" Cross ('MISSING'). 45" Bike (RAY DONOVAN- #1 of Season #5). 30" Cross (DONOVAN).

Called to Elsie's but got a busy until 640pm. Talked with Lannie about Buddy's urinary infection and 'his' lesion/facial healing.
In the tub with 'Scruffy The Cat'/ 'PURE'.

Will watch another 'I'M DYING UP HERE'.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener!  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
