Th 12/20/18- Power Outage/ Computer Problems LR PC

Overcast, mist and drizzle early, mid 40's rain predicted for late this afternoon and through the night.

Up 630am; At 645am there was a power outage (only about ten seconds) and I think that it fried the living room computer. I was in the process of doing a 'Microsoft Security Essentials' scan when the power went off. Now, it's trying a Restart and trapped in a loop for over 30". Finally, the message read the Microsoft could not restart this computer.

Looks like last night, upstairs was the last time that computer will be used. Luckily, the router was unaffected.

BLH Computers- (217) 585-1580

*****I thought for sure that the living room computer had bitten the dust, but I shut down completely. The last couple of shutdowns I only partially closed out, but when I completely shut it down and restarted everything worked just fine. I AM SO GLAD!!!

I had gone downstairs and started that computer and was watching the first 20" of 'ZERO THIRTY DOWN' on the DVD player, but when I got things working upstairs, I finished the film in the living room. Jessica Chastain was brilliant and a stellar supporting cast; almost three hours long.

Sent a Holiday Greeting email to Cindy.

Then another episode of 'HAPPY!'

2pm- To Wabash PO and Planet Fitness.
(I had to wait for a very long Windows Update on the upstairs PC; 15 updates! Took almost an hour....sick to death of computers).

45" Walk (TIDELAND'S). 45" Recumbent Bike (A CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES/ Snow Patrol; Amazon Music). 45" Cross (TIDELAND'S). 45" Bike (DUNCES/ THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE). 30" Cross (THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE).
Home to soak and finish the Harper Lee novel and listened to MINISTRY.

'OUT OF PRINT' (Amazon Prime). An homage to 'The New Beverly Theater' in Hollywood. This movie theater has been showing 'classic' films for decades and people love the 'movie going' experience (I DO NOT), also, the loss of the 35 millimeter format VS tape or DVD. Not bad, but it seemed was very old.
Then, watched the end of 'THIRTEEN' (Amazon Prime). The last episode and I didn't need to see it again. Then, an episode of 'THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE', that I didn't need to see the first time. This has nothing to do with the spirit of PK Dick!
