Up 640am; twenties and snow begins late this afternoon. It could bring nine inches when it's all over on Sunday morning.

Watched 'DEVIL'S GATE' (Netflix Disc) Set in desolate North Dakota where a missing mother and son police case morphs into a possible battle with demons or fallen angels, then changes to the initial stages of an alien invasion; not bad.

Then I watched the last bit of 'THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE' again. Father and son are killed and the authorities ship the witch off to another coroner's office???

Then the next 'MONEY HEIST'.

I checked the email and learned that I was denied AGAIN for the $30 reimbursement for the dentist. I called YSA and the clerk was very helpful. While I was on the line she called my dentist and had them fax the necessary info. I should get the reimbursement in three to five days- A surprisingly pleasant experience.

1220pm- I'm dropped the disc downtown, hit BLH for a new keyboard for the living room PC (I got a left handed model- just means that the calculator is on the left side, and some other things will have to take some getting used to), get gas (Only $1.99 per gallon at the first station on Stevenson near the old Fiat Allis), and then hit FitClub South.

On the machines just after 3pm. This is the first time that I've gone to South without using the steam room or the whirlpool. I want to get home before the storm hits. I just heard that we could get ten inches.

45" Precor (I love this machine!). 45" Recumbent Bike (Began 'POWDER'-  one of my trade paperbacks that I bought when I visited Santa Monica, CA in 2002; it's about the trials and tribulations of an English rock band). 45" Walk ('YOU'). 45" Bike (read/'YOU'). 30" Precor, again! ('YOU').

Home to hook up the new keyboard, and it wasn't easy.
The connection to the PC was completely different and I used a different socket. It took several minutes for the drivers to update and I wasn't sure it would work. Also, the delete key was in a different place- actually it's all a bit alien....I'll get used to it.

Into the tub to finish 'MY LITTLE FRIEND' and more of 'POWDER'. Listen to 'SPIRIT' Willie Nelson.

Watched,  'AFTER PORN ENDS'- A doc about what various  porn stars' careers and what they do after their XXX occupation ends (Netflix).  Then a little bit of a Netflix series called 'TERRORISM CLOSE CALLS''; fairly forgettable.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}. We exchanged books & Joe recommended an 'oiler' that fits under the belt of a treadmill. Melissa is now '2nd in command' at the Illinois Parole Board...
