Up 630am; about five inches have already fallen and it's supposed to continue all day. Now it could bring a foot of snow!

Wrote up 'THE LITTLE FRIEND' for the blog.

Watched 'LENNY' (Amazon Prime) An amazing performance by Dustin Hoffman and I disagree with Roger Ebert's critique of the film. He said that a documentary about a comedian should portray the comedian as funny. But I feel that Lenny Bruce was not so much a comedian as he was a 'bemoaner of  sanctimony, pietism, and humbug'. He demanded that his audience see the world as it is and not as they might wish it to be, and to confront and root out hypocrisy at whatever the cost. And that..... ain't that funny at all.

11am- Several more inches of snow have fallen since I awoke and I'm going to read for a while: Not leaving the house and I wonder if the snow plows will hit Westview anytime today. Later this afternoon I'll take a swipe at the driveway and the walk, but I'll probably have to hit it again before this is all done.
Read quite a bit of 'POWDER' and went outside to shovel about 220pm. I guess it was about nine inches of wet snow and the temp was just below freezing so not too bad, I wore my old Carharts from work. The drive and walk took about forty minutes and then I walked the neighborhood. Back by 415pm; I went up Westview to Lynhaven then south and around to Parkview (Kenyon and Parkview seem to be plowed- I guess is has to do with the school, and all of the side streets are just as bad as Westview) then down Greenview and up Fairway to Kenyon and back down the hill to 940. A nice walk. Read on the couch for almost an hour; listened to a later Johnny Cash album- where he covers other artists material.
Then soaked, read more 'POWDER' and listened to 'LOADED'.

A few guys in a pickup with a blade on the front got stuck trying to plow the driveway across the street (guy with prostate cancer). Finally got it out, and the street is still not plowed.

Watched 'BURN COUNTRY' on the PC downstairs (XFINITY) An interesting Independent film starring James Franco, Melissa Leo, and Rachel Brosnahan. An Afghanistan translator/ journalist relocates to Northern California, and and becomes enmeshed in the local scene. Well Worth A Look, but I'm not sure what it meant or how it ended.
