Up 545am; More frigid temps, sunny, low teens to low twenties. Strange Weather Pattern Approaching- temps to rise almost to forty, then rain, and then temps back to single digits on Monday. Monday morning could be one for the books....or nothing.
Watched Netflix disc, 'WONDERLAND' At the twilight of his career, John C. Holmes, adult film superstar, is addicted to drugs and tells his criminal friends of a plan to rob a rich Los Angeles restaurant and nightclub owner. They do the heist and get over a million in cash, drugs, and merchandise. In retaliation, the restaurateur organizes a hit on the gang and four people are bludgeoned to death in the apartment on Wonderland Avenue; with Val Kilmer, Kate Bosworth, and Eric Bogosian.
Then, 'HOME AGAIN' (Reese Witherspoon) A woman with two young daughters living in LA invites three aspiring young film makers to live in her guest house. An odd rom-com because it reeks of such excessive privilege and entitlement that very little sympathy can be felt for their predicament or any of the characters.
1215pm- PC 'OFF' and on to the weekly cleaning; FitClub West later.
On the machines at west by 115pm. 45" Octane (Springsteen/ Melvins). 45" Walk (Reality TV all workout). 45" Recumbent Bike. 45" Cross. 30" Old Style Cross. Julie spoke to me and I told her that I was still getting her mail- from Memorial Medical. She seemed to feel that they were sending to both addresses....maybe, but....
Home to try to call Elsie's. I talked to Lannie for about fifteen minutes and she was going to wake him up and I was to call back in ten. This was right around six, when Janny calls. I got a busy until almost six thirty, so I left a message that 'Everything sounds OK, and I'll call next Sunday'. The usual pain in the ass without an iota of worth.
In the tub with 'EXIT WOUNDS' and a soundtrack from a Country and Western movie that I was unfamiliar with.
Began 'THE TED BUNDY TAPES' (Netflix). I couldn't believe that Bundy was once a Republican operative....maybe not so out of character.
