Up 630am; breezy, mostly cloudy, to about fifty.
Watched Netflix disc, 'THE SOCIAL NETWORK' Based on the book, 'THE ACCIDENTAL BILLIONAIRES' that chronicled Mark Zuckerberg's launch of Facebook. The Facebook name refers to the original intent of the site which offered college guys a way to rate girls by how they look. Jesse Eisenberg is perfect as Zuckerberg.
Then 'KRYSTAL' (Netflix) Watched the first 20"
......and then switched to a Youtube video by The Moscow Project about Russian collusion and the Trump campaign. There were two election campaigns in 2016; The Trump campaign to elect Donald Trump, and the Russian campaign to elect Donald Trump. With all the people involved in Trump's inner circle that had clear and obvious Russian ties, you'd have to be an idiot to believe that they did not collaborate to reach the same end. June 9, 2016 meeting Trump's people admit that they were there to get dirty info on Hillary Clinton from the Russians. Also, we learn that after Trump's numerous bankruptcies during the 90's, American banks stopped his line of credit, so he took advantage of Russian Oligarchs largess. In a more perfect world (or even a more normal world), this alone should have kept Trump out of the presidency.
'KRYSTAL' William H. Macy directs and is one of the stars in this slightly strange, Southern Gothic, comic drama. An 18 year old boy with a heart condition falls in love with an ex-stripper, AA member, and mother of a wheelchair bound teen aged boy (Mom is played by Rosario Dawson). The 18 year old boy's father is a professor of comparative religion, his mother's a poet, and his brother is a painter, and the story is about how this widely dysfunctional group interacts. Better than it sounds, except Rosario might be a tad too old for a love interest of a teenager.
Downloaded Jeff Tweedy's latest from Hoopla- 'WARM'.
210pm....still at the computer....Sunday Cleaning, called Elsie's just before three and got in about five. Lannie seemed preoccupied. Mailed the disc at the Wabash PO, and on the machines at Planet Fitness by 3pm.
45" Walk (over an hour of a new Turkish series to Netflix called, 'WOLF'. Not that good). 45" Recumbent Bike (WOLF/ read). 45" Cross (BILLIONS). 45" Bike (BILLIONS). 30" Cross (UNBREAKABLE).
In the tub to listen to David Murry and Jack De Johnette and more 'THE LITTLE FRIEND'.
'A FUTILE AND STUPID GESTURE' (Netflix) Another film about something brand new or 'a new launch'- this is about the beginning of The National Lampoon and 'The Rise and Fall '(no pun intended) of Doug Kenney (played by a bearded and unrecognizable, Martin Mull). Kind of a dull film, but captured the power of what this writer and his scripts did for American comedy.
Problems loading album art when I added 'THE DIRTY PROJECTORS'. Why....Why...Why....fucking why
