Up 630am; overcast, very light drizzle early- to near freezing.

Watched the last half hour of 'BURN COUNTRY' (Xfinity) Melissa Leo/ James Franco. I was confused when I watched it last week, and slightly less confused.

Maybe Xfinity has made some upgrades because the transmission seems to be much improved, although it could be that the traffic is light.

Then 'MOLLY'S GAME' (Xfinity) Jessica Chastain is terrific as the owner of a super exclusive, high-end gambling operation, and the feds shut her down. I'd seen this before, but well worth a second look. It's written by Aaron Sorkin who is also the writer of 'WEST WING'. I wish I could have seen his Broadway play, 'TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD' with Jeff Daniels as Atticus Finch.

1210pm- PC off to read and later it's either FitClub West or LA Fitness. They hit the street with the plow- two times!!

Anxiety builds as I wait for the call from Dr. Ellison's office (didn't get the call all day).

I left for FitClub West at quarter till and on the machines by 1pm. 45" Octane (Fatboy Slim/ Led Zep). 45" Walk (Reality TV all workout). 45" Recumbent Bike. 45" Cross. 30" Old Style Cross.
Home to read downstairs and finished 'THE BRASS CUPCAKE'; then into the tub for The Gang of Four and began 'THE SKY IS OURS' (this month's book club selection).

Will try to watch a 'MARVELOUS MRS. MAISLEY' on the DVD player; it's acting strange; when it finally kicked in - no problems, but why??? Then the last segment of 'THE NEW YORKER' (Amazon Prime); The Naked Cowboy in NYC/ police shooting in Albuquerque, NM.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
