Up 645am; overcast, windy- to low 50's.

Watched 'SCORCHED' (Amazon Prime) A Slightly above average comedy in which three bank employees pull off three different heists... simultaneously, and get away with it; Alicia Silverstone/ Rachael Leigh Cook/ Woody Harrelson/ John Cleese/ and a very small part for Jeffery Tambor.

Then, 'THE GAUNTLET' (Xfinity) Clint Eastwood/ Sondra Locke  The film boasts (flaunts?) an unbelievable plotline and cartoonish characters, yet somewhat saved by a few funny and wry moments in the script. The 'big shootouts' outside of  'Gus Mally's' (Sondra Locke) house and city hall in Phoenix were almost a parody.

Got a text invitation to Easter dinner at the Brandenburg's and I declined. Will meet up next Saturday at their house at noon.

Since it was early when I finished, I headed to the County Market/ Fairhills for the weekly shopping. Haven't been eating much with the tooth problem, and didn't have a list, but got the essentials; $30.

Home to read more, 'BURN UNBURIED BURN' and listened to Bonnie & Delaney/ Mudhoney- Jimmie Dale Gilmore.

Then into the tub for more Mississippi Misery and a Blues Sampler.

'ROCKAWAY' (Amazon Prime) An Afghanistan war hero returns to Far Rockaway, Queens NY to find his wife and daughter had been murdered by drug gangs that have invaded his neighborhood. Revenge is his agenda and he kills all involved including the Russian mafia that was the power behind the scenes- Seemed almost like a student film and clocks in at under eighty minutes.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy

We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}. Pk northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 35 MINUTES; ORNETTE COLEMAN Playlist; began a J.R.E. with an English podcaster. 9am: Janny called and they will be here after their appointment with Dax at 10am.   Watched more of 'HIGH TIDES' (Netflix)- The Belgian soap opera of 'all the beautiful people'. 1045am- 1235pm: She met one of her students who was a girl who is now a man. We exchanged books & Joe recommended an 'oiler' that fits under the belt of a treadmill. Melissa is now '2nd in command' at the Illinois Parole Board...
