Up 650am;  sunny, very breezy, to mid 60's.

Watched 'THE INVITATION' (Netflix) Dir. Karyn Kusama (DESTROYER)  A man and his girlfriend attend a dinner party in the Hollywood Hills hosted by his ex-wife and her new husband- Menace, Murder, and Mayhem ensue:  "Manson- Esque". I loved it!

Downloaded a Clapton/ Blues album from Hoopla.

Called Dax and got the 'Full Authority' of Joe straightened out. Dax will not do anything to my account on Joe's sayso unless I am incapacitated. This was not stated in the letter from Ameriprise.

Called insurance about bill from Clinical Pathologies of Central Illinois. Aetna denied the test, and I will pay by credit card, and they'll send me a receipt so that I can send it to 'Your Spending Acct'.

Watched a 17" short film called 'THE HUMAN VOICE'. A one act play where Rosamund Pike gets dumped over the phone.

Then I skimmed the highlights of 'HOSTILES' Rosamund Pike/ Christian Bale; a terrific western.

Watched the last twenty minutes of 'MOMENT OF TRUTH' from last night, and I still really didn't get it.

1pm: reading, and finished, 'THE LEISURE SEEKER'- a very fine 'feel good' read. 230pm to LA Fitness and hit Schnucks for the weekly shopping afterwards- $60.

In the tub for the first Harry Hole novel and 'HARDCORE JOLLIES'.

'HALT: THE MOTION PICTURE' (Amazon Prime) A long winded story about the dangers of a traffic stop for people of color. Could have been so much better.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
