Up 630am; tossing and turning 3am to 4am, then crazy dreams- cloudy to 50's.

Forgot to check the mail after thinking the phone was lost, but got a Netflix disc this morning when I threw out the trash.

I was able to locate the lawn mower service on West Old Jacksonville Rd.

Watchet 'BAD TIMES AT THE EL ROYALE' (Netflix)  Jeff Bridges/ Jon Hamm/ Chris Hemsworth/ Dakota Johnson/ and Cynthia Erivo steals the show with her A cappella soul singing. The film is a very clever neo-noir thriller set in a nearly vacant hotel-resort in late 60's Lake Tahoe where crime and mayhem come to play. It's also a very real valentine to the power of soul music.

Then, 'THE BLEEDER' The true story of Chuck Wepner, the white guy from Bayonne NJ who went fifteen rounds with Muhammad Ali; with Liev Schreiber/ Elizabeth Moss/ Ron Perlman/ and Naomi Watts under a long red wig that made her nearly unrecognizable.

Called C&M Sharpen/ Mowers and will bring the mower to 6060 Rt. 97 before noon tomorrow; $70.

'ENLIGHTEN US' (Netflix)   James Arthur Ray, motivational speaker and self-help guru, has three of his followers die in a sweat lodge accident. He spends two years in jail, and tries to get back in the 'I'm OK- You're OK' racket. 'Self Help' is a multi-billion dollar industry, and surely attests to America's less than sane, national mental health.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
