Up 730am; overcast, cooler- mid 60's.
Watched Netflix disc, 'THE MULE' An 80 year old horticulturist from Peoria, IL becomes a drug mule for a Mexican cartel. Wholly implausible premise, but well done anyway. The same problem as 'THE GAUNTLET'.
Before Xfinity runs it asks to 'allow Adobe flash player'
Can't get Xfinity stream on the PC or the phone. Seems like a problem with them, but I tried to update adobe flash player- no help.
*******When I got to Planet Fitness I went to Xfinity and things were just fine, and when I got home I was able to access Xfinity with the phone, so I hope that they were just down a few hours this afternoon to make service so much better. Will see tomorrow...
Watched the last half of 'LOLLILOVE' This is one of the most blistering satires that I've seen in a long time. A rich and clueless California couple tries to 'help the homeless' by giving them lollipops with a cheery message on the wrappers.
1245: Finished 'PAGAN BABIES' and on the road by 2pm.
Downtown to drop the disc at the Monroe PO, then over to the license place for a $101.00 sticker. Then to several blocks south of the county building where I successfully registered to freeze my real estate taxes. Then, to a gas station on south grand to fill up the lawn mower can, and over to Planet Fitness and on the machines by 315pm.

Home to soak and listen to early Clapton (some of the best Yardbirds ever!) and read more '80's Road Trip- in the book they go from Michigan to Disneyland- which makes more sense than down the east coast to Key West.
'IN THE WAKE OF THE ASSASSINS' (Amazon Prime) A look at 1950's Phenix, Alabama where the city fathers failed to raise taxes, but allowed gambling, drugs, and prostitution to flourish....and taxed the bad guys. It did not work out.
