Up 715am; partly cloudy, breezy, chilly; temps to low 60's.
Wrote up 'THE VERDICT' for the blog.
Watched Netflix disc, 'MARK FELT- THE MAN WHO BROUGHT DOWN THE WHITE HOUSE'. The story of Woodward and Bernstein's infamous whistleblower known as 'Deep Throat'. When I read about Felt I was surprised to learn that Bob Woodward was Felt's contact, and Bernstein didn't know the identity of Felt until the Vanity Fair revelation over thirty years later. Also, in the movie there is no mention that the Felt's also had a son.
Then watched, 'CODE OF SILENCE' A true crime film about a Charlestown, MA robbery crew who were hijacking armored cars during the mid 90's in the northeast. Charlestown was the setting for the film about the Oxy Thieves that I watched recently.
2pm: Spent some time in the driveway getting the news channels on Sirius grouped, and then to Wabash PO to mail rebate information to 'Your Spending Account' (They charged me over a buck to mail the fucker, but she did find the correct zip which I had gotten wrong!), and a workout at Planet Fitness.
45" Walk (JAILBIRDS). 45" Recumbent Bike (Began 'THE BURIED GIANT'and listened to L.A. WOMAN- The Doors). 45" Cross (JUDGE FUCKING JUDY). 30" Walk (ENTOURAGE). 30" Cross (OFF CAMERA- Weird Al Yankovic/ Matt Damon).
When I got home I read for 45" downstairs and listened to BIG BLACK. I tried to use the portable boombox from my bedroom for baths, but the sound is too low and the quality is poor.
I'll continue to think on which bluetooth speaker that I'll buy to play the music on the phone, and consider getting a boombox cassette player to use in the bathroom.
In the tub with more tales of Saxon England and a compilation of Alligator Records.
'ABOVE US ONLY SKY' (Netflix) A biopic about the making of John Lennon's record, 'IMAGINE'. An amazing amount of footage never before seen, and it gives Yoko a lot more credit for John's 'post- Beatles' work. In 2017 the song 'Imagine' was voted 'The Song of The Century'.
