Up 7am; overcast and mist- temps barely out of the 40's.
On a YouTube video I learned how to turn off the new speakers. These speakers are keepers! I couldn't be happier.
Watched 'ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD' (Xfinity) Christopher Plummer/ Michelle Williams/ Mark Wahlberg. Paul III is kidnapped and is ransomed for $17 million. Grandpa refuses to pay, so mom and the chief negotiator take matters into their own hands and get the boy back. Saw this when it came out and well worth a second look. This film will probably be most remembered for the fact that Kevin Spacey was originally cast to play Getty, but the part went to Plummer after Spacey's sex scandal went public.
Listened to 'DUSTY IN MEMPHIS' on the Altec 'baby boom' and it works fantastically. Posted the 'rubber band hack' on the YouTube review.
Then watched 'THE BOY DOWNSTAIRS' (Xfinity) A droll and intelligent love story that shrewdly informs the viewer that you don't know how well you've got it- until it's gone. After two years abroad a woman rents a Brooklyn apartment and is surprised to find that her ex resides downstairs. Can they remain neighbors, or will they discover that their love was real? Surprised how good this film was.
230pm: The Weekly Cleaning (To Zappa's, 'SHUT UP AND PLAY YOUR GUITAR'), and then to LA Fitness. I've got the new Drive-by Truckers from Hoopla.
An idiot light came on in the Elantra about the Passenger Seat Bags. I haven't read all the possibilities, but I hope this doesn't involve a trip to Green.
45" Walk (JAILBIRDS). 45" Recumbent Bike (Read 'THE BURIED GIANT/ Drive-by Truckers). 45" Cross (LUNATICS). 30" Walk (LUNA/ JAIL). 30" Cross (ENTOURAGE).
Home to check the web about 'PASSENGER SEAT BAGS', then in the tub with more 'Miller's Tale' stuff, and the first time with the Altec Baby Boom- THE LIBERTINES.
'THE VAULT' (Netflix) James Franco/ Taryn Manning (Pennsatucky on,'Orange Is The New Black') The film is about a botched bank heist. The crew encounters a haunted vault. THE TWIST: They are dealing with a man who was killed in a robbery that occurred thirty years before. The 'heist' section worked better than the 'horror/ metaphysical' angle.
