Up 520am; partly sunny- 80's.

Watched 'THE UNPERFECT CRIME' (Amazon Prime) In October of 1997 David Ghantt is working for Loomis Fargo in Charlotte, NC, and initiates a heist that robs his employer of seventeen million dollars in twenties and fifties. An interesting expose about how this gang of misfits pulled it off, and then lost it all.

Then, the next episode of 'SNEAKY PETE' (Amazon Prime) The episode is set in Rosedale, NY- home of Spiritualism; Lily Dale/ Cassadaga Lake.

10am: mow the lawn then a bike ride to the library book sale.
Three pushes on the bulb, and the motor kicks! The lawn done in under an hour (with raking).

Biked downtown via Feldkamp/ Edwards.....Got ten paperbacks for five bucks and three trades for three bucks- $8.00 total. Back to Fairhills/ County Market for one can 'high gravity'- Steel Beer.

Home to check out the books and drink.
About 3pm in the car to Fairhills. Got the gas can filled; bought a broom/ vitamins/ iron pills at the Dollar Store/ and a couple of boxes of  flowers for the stoop and planter beneath the bedroom window.

$65 Groceries.

Home to spread the mulch in the front yard under the gum ball tree and around the hedge on the side of the house and plant the flowers.... and drank the new Steel Beer that I bought with the groceries.

In the tub; just listened to the music- no reading, just relaxing.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener!  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
