Up 5am; looks like another beautiful sunny summer day, but clouds move in by late afternoon, and a little cooler than yesterday- upper 70's.
TROUBLE WITH DVD PLAYER- LIVING ROOM PC
I tried to get 'VOX LUX' Netflix disc to play on the VLC Player and it was all distorted. Reinstalled another player, and it wouldn't work. Uninstalled VLC and reinstalled- still No Go. 645am- watching downstairs with no problem. Optical Card gave out?
Watched this very different film downstairs. The first section of the movie sets up the story line. A young high school student is badly wounded in a school shooting. She writes a song that expresses her feelings about the attack and it becomes a hit. Then the film shifts seventeen years into the future. She's an unhinged and very neurotic super-star with a teenage daughter of her own, and she becomes linked to another terrorist/ shooting event. The film is wildly unpredictable, and really doesn't have much of a plot, but you just can't take your eyes off the screen.
930am: back upstairs on the PC.
Wasted an inordinate amount of time trying to get the TLC Player to work, but naadaa...Maybe I'll get up the guts to unhook the PC and take it to BLH.
Then watched '#REALITYHIGH' (Netflix) A high school movie of the 'Teen/ Dramedy Genre' with a hyper-modern point of view. A little too sweet, predictable, and maybe just a little old-fashioned corny.
Then the next episode of 'SNEAKY PETE' (Amazon Prime) Mom is back!
220pm: to Wabash PO and Planet Fitness...and maybe some new flip flops. And on the way in I got a dynamite pair of black dress flip flops for a buck at the Dollar Store east of Planet Fitness.
45" Walk (WHAT IF). 45" Recumbent Bike (read WAYFARING STRANGER). 45" Cross (WHAT IF). 30" Walk (ENTOURAGE). 30" Cross (OFF CAMERA- the last part of the interview with the girl that stars with Charlie Hader in 'BARRY').
In the tub with Pink Floyd and more Holland Saga.
The next episode of 'WHEN THEY SEE US' (Netflix).The years move on. Trump shoots off his mouth about Race and the Death Penalty.
