Th 6/13/19- 2pm appointment 800 N. 1st.- UROLOGY
Up 545am; sunny, breezy, and cool- only to just above 70.
Wrote up 'PLAYING FOR PIZZA'- John Grisham for the blog.
Watched 'THE SENTENCE' (Xfinity) This one I had seen before, but well worth a second look. Cindy Shank receives a fifteen year sentence on a conspiracy charge. The fact that she had knowledge of her boyfriend's drug operation, and since she didn't notify authorities, she was charged for all of his offenses. And, the state did not bring charges against her until six years after both state and federal authorities had already agreed to drop all charges against her. The documentary shows how this ridiculously draconian sentence destroyed her family, and especially how it traumatized her three young daughters. Mandatory sentencing benefits no one but the prison industrial complex!!
Then I watched three episodes of 'SNEAKY PETE'. I thought that this is the end of the series, but there are four more episodes.
1pm: PC is 'off', and I'm dreading the urologist visit. LA Fitness, then the weekly shopping.
Arrived at the office just before 2pm. Took too long to fill out the insurance info. I don't think the woman knew what she was doing. Got the PSA (this is the blood test) and was in the waiting room by 230pm. Waited till almost 3pm before Agnes Fenner appeared. "You still ride a bike"? She told me this was a reason for a heightened reading, and 'as if' this might be why I would stop riding. As she stuck her finger in my ass, she asked who was my primary doctor. I drew a blank. If the blood test is good, I don't have to see her for another year.
At LA Fitness by 330pm. 45" Walk (UNDERCOVER). 45" Recumbent Bike (TV News). 45" Cross (UNDERCOVER). 30" Walk (ENTOURAGE). 30" Cross (OFF CAMERA- Andrew Bird). Whirlpool/ and a very Hot Sauna.
$72 at Schnucks. Some deals, but most of the stuff was way more than County Market.
Home to watch 'FEAR, LOVE, AND AGORAPHOBIA' (Amazon Prime). An LA man who looks like Frank Zappa suffers from Agoraphobia and needs someone to help him live in his bungalow. He takes a female Marine with PTSD problems as a roomate. Asleep before the end (will watch the end of this again later this morning), then the first episode of 'THE CHEF SHOW'.
