Up 810am: Hot, humid, with temps close to 90. The very last blast of Summer. Tomorrow the temps will not crack 70, and stay in the 70's for the next ten days or more.

Planned to watch, 'THE SICILIAN GIRL' (Hoopla), but then learned that the library had 'reached their limit'...Damn...

Did watch 'THE LINCOLN LAWYER' (Amazon Prime) From the novel by Michael Connelly.... Mick Haller defends a very wealthy man charged with rape who claims, 'I didn't do it'!....But he did; with Matthew McConaughey, Marisa Tomei, Ryan Phillippe, William H. Macy, Michael Pena, and Bryan Cranston. I loved it, and anything that comes from Michael Connelly.

Then 2 episodes of 'WORKAHOLICS' (Amazon Prime)

130pm: Biked to the 'Y'. 45" Walk (TV all workout). 45" Recumbent Bike. 45"Cross. 30" Walk. 30" Cross.

Home to read downstairs and load a bunch of music to Amazon Music and listen to THE TOM TOM CLUB.

Then in the tub and I decided to start the Michael Connelly novel, 'THE LATE SHOW', that Janny loaned to me. I'll finish 'THE RULES OF CIVILITY', but after watching The Morning Movie, I couldn't resist some 'fresh Connelly'. I listened to BOBBY BLUE BLAND LIVE/ THE ENGLISH BEAT/ 38 SPECIAL.

Watched 'COLD CASE FILES' (Netflix)    1984 case of a late-night gas station attendant murdered in Utah  (stabbed by a foot long screwdriver)  and DNA convicts two seemingly unrelated people who did it  a couple of decades later. Then 'TWO SENTENCE HORROR STORIES' (Netflix), then a 'CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM'.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
