Up 615am: Cold, rain and drizzle all day with temps only to 40.

Watched, 'SKIN' (Amazon Prime) The film earnestly documents the life of a young man who was an ardent member of a white supremacist group who painfully grows to accept the evil of his ways. When he falls in love and marries a woman with three young girls, he finally is able cut ties with his old 'family'. His face is covered in racist tattoos and the movie is framed around the removal of this hateful art; with Jamie Bell, Danielle McDonald, and Vera Farmiga. Based on actual events, and a very powerful film.

Then, ten minutes of '200th Episode/ COMEDY BANG BANG' (YouTube) with Scott Aukerman and Jason Mantzoukas. Not too funny, then a couple of songs about 'Truck Birthday' and 'Truck Skin Baby' that were funny.

Then, 'THE ENGLISH TEACHER' (Amazon Prime) A repressed high school English teacher becomes obsessed with with a former student who has written a play for the school to perform; with Julianne Moore, Michael Angaro, Greg Kinnear- Mildly humorous, and worth a look.

1pm: Reading, 'BODY SURFING', and listening to Amazon Prime.
315pm: To LA Fitness. I used the Google Map in the Elantra and it worked perfectly. Listened to HAWKWIND very loud and the map voice gently interrupts and tells you where to turn. I love it!

45" Walk (AMERICA'S SECRETS- THE FBI). 45" Recumbent Bike (Read 'BODY SURFING' and listened to HAWKWIND and THE PINK FAIRIES). 45" Cross (2 episodes of 'TOON'). 30" Walk (OFF CAMERA- Todd Johnson). 30" Cross (TV).

An almost freezing drizzle was falling on the way home. I took Vets Parkway because the Google map told me so. It might even be faster than Chatham Rd.

Home to soak and more 'BODY SURFING' and listened to QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE/ QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE.

The next episode of 'BREAKING BAD' (Netflix). Then a YouTube documentary about the JEFFERSON AIRPLANE.

I first thought that they were for the house across the street, but it looks like the action is farther down the road. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
