****Toilet flushed very slowly. I had to use the plunger and noticed a sliver of soap was blocking the hole. DO NOT PUT BAR SOAP IN TOILET!
Watched, 'COLORS' (Amazon Prime- another film will be dropped from Amazon on Dec. 31st) The Blues and Reds (Crips and Bloods) fight it out on the mean streets of LA. Two officers in the street gang unit try to make a difference...Two Bulls Story, "Let's walk down and fuck'em all"; with Robert Duvall, Sean Penn, Don Cheadle ('Rocket'- the baddest banger on the block), and a very small role for Seymour Cassel. Directed by Dennis Hopper.
Then the first episode of a TV police series from 1957 called, 'DECOY' (Amazon Prime) Two hundred fifty women worked undercover for the New York police department in 1957, and these are their stories. A female undercover cop takes a room across the hall from a woman who knows a killer that is wanted by the authorities, but this person doesn't exist because she is the killer. Sixty-three years ago is really like going on a time machine, and I was there!
Noon: wrote the Weekly Wrap and sent it off.
Then, the next, 'MODERN LOVE' (Amazon Prime) A gay NYC couple use a homeless girl as a surrogate and she lives in their townhouse for the last two months of her pregnancy. 'JUNO' it ain't, but still kind of good.
145pm: To the 'Y' and on the machines by 215pm. 45" Walk (TV all workout). 45" Cross. 45" Recumbent Bike. 30" Walk. 30" Cross. It was crowded, but not as much as I expected.
To the Walgreens on Monroe for a twelve pack of Bud.
Home to read downstairs, 'SYCAMORE ROW' and listen to COURTNEY BARNETT and BADBADNOTGOOD on the speaker bar.
Then in the tub with more Grisham and SMOKEY ROBINSON AND THE MIRACLES and ANDY TIMMONS BAND.
The next 'BETTER CALL SAUL' (Netflix)
Then the next, 'KEVIN HART: DON'T FUCK THIS UP' (Netflix). This is the last episode and he never addresses the real issue....Would you accept the fact that your son was gay? Everything he says is just a big smokescreen and his apology is only, 'I'm sorry that all of you people are upset over this issue', but he never addresses the fact that he said he would not accept or want a gay son. Kevin Hart never confronts his obvious anti-gay bias.
Then a YouTube 'True Crime' In 2002 Rachel Cooke went for a 4 mile run in Austin, Texas and was never seen again. She was home from college on winter break, and the case has never been solved.
