Up 730am: Cloudy with some mist during the afternoon with temps to the low 50's.

Watched 'THE SCORE' (Netflix) One of the best Heist Films ever! A hi-tech robbery gang tries to steal a 16th century French scepter worth over $35 million; with Edward Norton, Robert De Niro, and Marlon Brando.

Wrote the Weekly Wrap to notify Janny on Dave Johnson's death over the weekend.

Then watched the next episode of 'BRAINDEAD' (Amazon Prime).

115pm: To the 'Y' and then to Burlington for a new winter coat.
On the machines at the 'Y' by 135pm. 45" Walk (TV all workout- More of the impeachment hearings). 45" Recumbent Bikes. 45" Cross. 30" Walk. 30" Cross.

To Burlington and if I hadn't looked up the location, I would have gone to their old building on MacArthur. I wonder how long they've been on Wabash?
I liked the coat that I was wearing better than anything in the store...at any price. I did buy a 30pk. of Pabst at the upscale liquor store next to Burlington. Maybe I'll check out Penney's and see if I can find a top coat....something a little classier than I've been wearing (for years).

Home to read downstairs and finished 'SOMEONE'- listened to COWS- 'Cunning Stunts'. Then in the tub with a new novel, 'PRINCE OF THE CITY' and STIFF LITTLE FINGERS and THE STRAWBS.

Then the next 'BREAKING BAD' (Netflix). Then, 'PATRIOT ACT'-" Why the billionaires won't save us" (Netflix).
Then a 20" documentary YouTube video about David Bowie....forgettable....

And then, part of a YouTube documentary about Mickey Rourke.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character. Another episode of 'I'M DYING UP HERE', and then another 'GLOW'. 250PM- Drove to FitClub West, then after the workout to the County Market on south sixth for beer and some groceries- and a dependable can opener! We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}. Pk northside, up the hill, Parkview, Fairway, and up to 940...ONE HOUR AND 35 MINUTES; ORNETTE COLEMAN Playlist; began a J.R.E. with an English podcaster. 9am: Janny called and they will be here after their appointment with Dax at 10am.   Watched more of 'HIGH TIDES' (Netflix)- The Belgian soap opera of 'all the beautiful people'. 1045am- 1235pm: She met one of her students who was a girl who is now a man. We exchanged books & Joe recommended an 'oiler' that fits under the belt of a treadmill. Melissa is now '2nd in command' at the Illinois Parole Board...
