Up 730am: Cloudy with snow to begin this afternoon and continue through tomorrow morning; 4"-7" could fall.

Compiled some notes and links to post on the blog for 'HOW TO BEHAVE IN CROWDS'.

Watched Netflix disc, 'TRUE ROMANCE' Tony Scott directs and Quentin Tarantino co-wrote the screenplay; with Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Gary Oldman, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer (as 'The Mentor' or Elvis Presley), Brad Pitt, Christopher Walken, Samuel L. Jackson, James Gandolfini, Chris Penn, Tom Sizemore, Kevin Corrigan, and Michael Rapaport. In Detroit Alabama (she's from Florida) and Clarence bond over a Kung Fu triple feature, get married, and abscond to Los Angeles with a suitcase full of uncut cocaine. Mayhem ensues. The movie is a little (a lot) over-the-top, but that's the point, and the script is undeniably dazzling.

Then watched about half of 'THE JAZZ LOFT' (Amazon Prime) Famous photographer W. Eugene Smith's legendary apartment on 821 6th, NYC...'A Happening' place before there were 'Happenings' or 'Be-Ins'.

115pm: to the 'Y'. Extended winter hours to 7pm on Sunday. Dropped the disc in the box across from Monroe/ Fairway and on the machines at the 'Y' by 240pm.

45" Walk (Watched the YouTube 'Bonus Features' and interviews about 'TRUE ROMANCE'). 45" Recumbent Bike (TV all workout). 45" Cross. 30" Walk. 30" Cross.
Snowing like mad, about three inches or more, and very powdery on the streets and everywhere else. Very slick and the ass-clowns were 'under-driving' like mad!
Did the Weekly Cleaning and downstairs to re-start, 'THE PRINCE OF THE CITY' and listen to CARLA BLEY and UB40.
Then in the tub for more 'police procedural' and TOWNES VAN ZANDT and TODD RUNDGREN.

Then, a YouTube documentary about, TOWNES VAN ZANDT, but no longer available. I did find a 45" interview that I'll listen to in the morning.
Watched an hour 'DIRECTOR'S CUT- BEHIND THE MUSIC- JOURNEY'. I do not like the glossy, over-produced sounds of bands like Journey and ELO. I need some 'warts and all' to love or even consider to be of interest. Journey started out with some soul, but then became a slick,  'chick band'. Hey, the musicianship is there, but it's just vapid to me.

Then a bio on YouTube of , 'LYNYRD SKYNYRD'. Surprised to learn that Al Kooper was instrumental in bringing this band to the forefront, and then they get a guy from, 'THE STRAWBERRY ALARM CLOCK'? You can't make this up!!

Then the next episode of 'MODERN LOVE' (Amazon Prime) Catherine Keener stars in a story about the rekindling of old love.
