Up 730am: Mist and fog early, then cloudy with temps to about freezing.

Watched, 'DID YOU WONDER WHO FIRED THE GUN?' (Kanopy). The filmmaker investigates a murder committed by his great grandfather in 1946. The man shot and killed a black man who entered his small grocery store and he was charged with first degree murder, but for some reason the charges were dropped. The film doesn't resolve this issue, but it infers that his great grandfather was a loud, vocally racist, brash white man who was politically connected and these individuals could act with impunity. ODD FACT: There were five hundred thousand slaves in Alabama during the Civil War. The filmmaker's aunt is a member of a contemporary group who believes that the South should secede from the US, and she offered a completely bogus scenario for the murder.

****I wrote a brief message about the film on Kanopy

"This is an momentous and difficult subject and the presentation was a bit muddled yet most definitely heartfelt. Nevertheless, after the credits rolled it unquestionably packed an emotional wallop and implores the viewer to reexamine the oft quoted phrases, "Land of the Free and Home of The Brave" and "Justice For All".

Then I watched, 'IF I SHOULD FALL FROM GRACE' (Kanopy). Without Closed Caption this would be unwatchable, but does manage to portray the rise and fall of The Pogues. Although the band is a collection of very talented musicians, it's clear that they would never have achieved such popularity without the twisted genius of Shane MacGowan.

***My message at Kanopy about the film:

"MacGowan seems to fully embody, 'The Tortured Artist Syndrome'.UPDATE: He suffered a fall in 2015 and fractured his pelvis and has been confined to a wheelchair since then. During the hospitalisation, he quit drinking and is undergoing treatment with a physiotherapist to learn to walk again".

I paid the ten dollars that I owned the Springfield Clinic and had them send a receipt by mail. Then I wrote the Weekly Wrap and sent it.

245pm: To Planet Fitness for the workout. On the machines by 3pm. 45" Walk (True Crime- Murders in Hull, England solved by leaves and plants). 45" Recumbent Bike (Read 'DEAL BREAKER' and listened to THE ENGLISH BEAT and GET YER YA YA'S OUT). 45" Cross (PEAKY BLINDERS). 30" Walk (PEAKY BLINDERS). 30" Cross (PEAKY BLINDERS).

Home to soak and finished the Harlan Coben and began 'LA REQUIEM' and listened to SHERYL CROW 'Globe Sessions' and THE BREEDERS 'Splash'.

Watched Alain Whyte ( guitarist and songwriter for Morrissey during the 90's) on JONESY'S JUKEBOX, and then Steve Winwood on JONESY'S JUKEBOX.
Then a very early, '60 DAYS IN' on IMDB- TV
