Up 730am: At 815am it's slightly above freezing, but it's snowing like mad- big, lazy flakes. This ended by 10am, but the snow begins again late this afternoon and to continue through Wednesday morning; 2-4 inches posible.
Watched, 'MICKEY AND THE BEAR' (Kanopy). Dad suffers from PTSD from his service in Iraq and he's totally unhinged. Then he begins confusing his feelings for his daughter with his dead wife. No stars, but this is a fine dramatic film; Cami Morrone is one stunning looking actress .
What I wrote at Kanopy:
"An unnerving look at an almost incestuous relationship between a father and daughter. It's a compelling psychosexual drama, but it kinda gave me the creeps, but the film is most definitely worth a look".
I just happened to notice another film starring Cami Morrone called, 'NEVER GOIN' BACK' (Amazon Prime).
"It’s essentially a stoner comedy with two young ladies in the parts that would have once been played by Cheech and Chong, which only takes a movie so far but this is the kind of after-a-dorm-party movie that could easily find a cult following over the years."
Two waitresses try to make rent, keep their jobs, plan a vacation to Galveston, and stay high. Much deeper and edgier than most movies that are aimed at the young stoner audience; shot near Fort Worth, Texas. I liked it.
145pm: To the 'Y' and then grocery shopping at Fairhills later.
On the machines at the 'Y' by 2pm. 45" Cross (TV all workout). 45" Walk. 45" Recumbent Bike. 30" Walk (Incline at '8'; Speed '3.1'- right ankle is still a factor. 30" Cross.
To the County Market at Fairhills and the rain has not changed to sleet or snow, but they are still saying that we could get up to four or five inches before it ends tomorrow morning. $66 on food.
Home to soak and read more of 'THE CROSSING' and listened to MY BLOODY VALENTINE and STURGILL SIMPSON.
Watched a YouTube video where THE RACONTEURS talk about making an album. Wasn't any good and dropped it after a few minutes.
Then, BRIAN MAY on JONESY'S JUKEBOX. Very interesting!
Then, GLENN DANZIG on JONESY'S JUKEBOX. Was he wasted?
