Up 630am: Cloudy with temps to the low 40's.

Watched the last half of Netflix disc, 'ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD'. Quentin Tarantino's cinematic valentine to the spirit of Hollywood during the summer of 1969 as seen through the relationship of a fading television cowboy actor and his stunt double. The climax of the film is a more than slightly fictionalized portrayal of the events of August 9. 1969- The Manson Murders. A very powerful film and I loved it; with Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Timothy Olyphant, Dakota Fanning, Bruce Dern, Damian Lewis, Al Pacino, Lena Dunham, Scoot McNairy, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, and many more superb actors.

Watched some videos and read articles about the Tarantino film, then watched, 'FRANKIE & ALICE' (Amazon Prime). A fairly dull film about a woman who suffers from multiple personalities. Among her personas are a stripper, a girl with a genius IQ, and a white racist (based on an actual case); with Halle Berry and Stellan Skarsgard.

Watched two episodes of, '#blackAF'(Netflix). "...new money black family trying to get it right in a modern world where ‘right’ is no longer a fixed concept...” from page on Wikipedia. TITLE: Hash Tag, Black As Fuck. A very funny series.

3pm: Walk to Wabash PO to mail back Netflix disc.
Up Westview and down Parkview to Wash Park to Wiggins and then south all the way to Cherry. Then east to MacArthur along the shopping centers to Wabash, then west to the PO. Straight back Chatham. Up Parkview and down Westview to 940. A LITTLE OVER TWO HOURS; Mp3- 'Outside Inside' BLUE CHEER and 'Spooky Two' SPOOKY TOOTH.

Read ANNE TYLER- 'Earthly Possessions'  on the couch and listened to THE ARCS and THE ARISTOCRATS. Then in the tub with more ANNE TYLER and SOUNDGARDEN and EELS.

Watched, 'NOBODY SPEAK: TRIALS OF THE FREE PRESS' (Netflix). A billionaire secretly involves himself in an unrelated court case so that he can bankrupt a media outlet that he doesn't like. Hulk Hogan sued Gawker magazine about the release of his sex tape and this super rich individual paid Hogan's legal fees to insure that they win and then render the publication insolvent. Isn't this a gross violation of First Amendment Rights?

Then a, 'COLD CASE FILES' (IMDB-TV). A couple in their 80's in rural Washington State are murdered after being forced to withdraw $8,500 at their local bank. Twenty years later two brothers are implicated in the brutal killings. One of the brothers had died, but the other one got 103 years behind bars.
