Sa 4/11/2020- First Lawn Mowing- 26
Sa 4/11/2020
Up 720am: Feel well rested and it's a sunny day (cloudy later) with temps to low 60's.
Watched, 'THE ROAD TO WELLNESS' (Hoopla). A farce about the whacky 'health cult' that led to the birth of the 'Healthy and Modern' attitude toward 'The Most Important Meal of The Day' in Battle Creek, Michigan. Most of the bizarreness of the film is totally based on fact which I think many viewers don't realize; with Anthony Hopkins (with a strange overbite), Bridget Fonda, Matthew Broderick, John Cusack, Dana Carvey, and Lara Flynn Boyle.
Filled out the forms to claim $180 for my 'out of pocket' for the colonoscopy.
Then watched an episode of, 'FLEABAG' (Amazon Prime). Her character is never named and she is called Fleabag because it means a dirty or unpleasant person or animal. That's what people call her.
1pm: Walking to Wabash PO to mail Netflix disc and the YSA request for my 'out of pocket' of colonoscopy; $180.
Up Westview to Parkview south on Oakmont to Pebble Beach east to Laurel to Chatham south. Only took one stamp on the YSA letter- seemed a bit heavy with all the documentation. Back nearly the same way. JUST OVER TWO HOURS.
***I laid on the couch and finished 'HELL'S CORNER' and started 'COGAN'S TRADE', then I decided to give the lawn mower a go. It took nearly twenty minutes of pulling, but it finally started. I was looking up lawn mower repair on the phone and then the last pull did it. Maybe I was on a level spot on the drive?
I mowed the yard, starting with the front. No real grass raking, but I did rake most of the gumballs into the street and put them in the trash. Yard looks good; 430pm to 615pm.
Then in the tub with GEORGE V. HIGGINS and THE GORILLAZ 'Demon Days' and THE ESSENTIAL INCUBUS.
Watched, 'OPERATION ODESSA' (Netflix). A trio of international criminals representing a Colombian cartel try to buy a submarine on the Russian black market. Capitalism meets Darwinism played by buffoons.
Then two episodes of, 'SCHITT'S CREEK' (Amazon Prime). Eugene Levy, Dan Levy, Catherine O'Hara, and Chris Elliott star with a dynamite ensemble comedy cast. A really funny Canadian series that I had never seen. 6 Seasons on Amazon Prime!
