Sa 4/25/20:40- Marijuana Dispensary/ Water Downstairs
Sa 4/25/20
Up 735am: Rain and periods of heavy rain all day- to 50.
***Spent an inordinate amount of time trying to order more weed online. Can only get one 1/8 and when I finally placed order, 'Closed due to high volume'. Will continue throughout the day. In about ten minutes the site took my order. I ordered 1/8 of Lemon Pepper (only one per customer!)- $75, and one Sweet Strawberry Gummy- $38. Waiting for the message that I can pick it up.
About 11am I got a link to select a time and everything was booked until 430 pm-5 pm. I took it. Then I had to download a 'scan code' to the phone and this was unnecessarily difficult.
In between all the marijuana confusion I watched the last half of the Netflix disc, 'THE DEATH AND LIFE OF JOHN F. DONOVAN'.
1045 am: Finished the Netflix disc, 'THE DEATH AND LIFE OF JOHN F. DONOVAN' and the Bonus Features. An odd tale of a a young man who is a closeted gay star in the movie industry who has a secret pen-pal relationship with an eight year old boy; with Natalie Portman, Kit Harington, Susan Sarandon, Kathy Bates, and Michael Gambon.
For some reason I noticed the ILLINOIS UNCLAIMED PROPERTY email that has been in my In Box for many, many months. I processed the claim and it seems to be with AG Edwards and ATT. Apparently I have some shares that can be converted into cash- under a hundred dollars. We'll see what happens. A fucking waste of time...You don't know what it is or why it was unclaimed, but I HAVE TO PROVIDE THE DETAILS....FUCK YOU!!!
Then watched three episodes of Season 1, 'THE GOOD PLACE' (Netflix).
130pm: Rain continues so no walk. Flood Watch in effect. Will wait until it's time to leave to the pot store.
I read and napped on the living room couch till 415 pm and I left for the Pot Store on Adams.
***Before I left for downtown in the driveway I was able to get the Elantra to play the Mp3 player. However, it just played the first album, but when I left the store I pulled over on fifth and hit the 'file' button and I got a list of everything on the player. Great! Parked in the diagonal parking right in front of dispensary. There must be fifteen to twenty people working...Several guards at every entrance... A half dozen working behind the counter.
***When I got in line a woman asked my name. Both of us were wearing masks and I couldn't hear her and she couldn't hear me. She got my name and went behind the door to find my order. When she left somebody else asked my name and went behind the door to look for my order, then somebody else asked my name.... The first woman had found the order and the other two couldn't find it....Cluster Fuck. I asked why we couldn't by more than one 'eighth' and she said that they were just waiting for a shipment....in a couple of days. Back home by 5 pm.
Had a cup of instant on the couch and read more Ross Thomas, then in the tub with more Thomas and listened to THE AMERICAN MUSIC CLUB and AMY WINEHOUSE.
**Water downstairs!!!! Upstairs to watch the PC. Hopefully it won't be bad, but I am not optimistic.
Watched the next episode of, 'OZARK' (Netflix).
Then, 'ALL THINGS MUST PASS' (1' 36") (YouTube). A documentary about the unprecedented and exponential growth and then the sad demise of Tower Records.
