Up 640 am: Rain through this afternoon with temps to high 50's.
Wrote up 'DARK AND SACRED NIGHT'- Michael Connelly and added BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND THE E STREET BAND LIVE NYC 2000 to Google Play.
Watched, 'THE BIG SHORT' (IMDB-TV)..."It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so."- Mark Twain... with Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Brad Pitt, Tracy Letts, Marisa Tomei, Jeremy Strong, and Melissa Leo. The film is a kind of a 'CliffsNotes' of the financial meltdown of 2008 that began with the collapse of the housing market. A difficult subject, yet the film is both informative and entertaining. The reason that was offered for the crisis was to blame immigrants and minorities which is really 'The American Way'.
***At 1021am. the power went off and before I could connect to CWLP it came back on. It was off about five minutes and took about the same amount of time to reset the clocks and get back to the movie.
***Try to remember to put the day's journal entry in an email so that it goes to 'draft' if there is a power outage. If I use 'notepad' it all just disappears.
Then watched 'SHORT TERM 12' (Amazon Prime). The film is about a young supervisor at a group home for troubled teenagers. As the drama unfolds it is clear that she has more than her own share of psychological problems. An interesting film, but I wonder if this is an accurate representation of life in a group home. Winner of numerous awards; with Brie Larson, Kaitlyn Dever (BOOKSMART), and Rami Malek.
During the film I wrote a reply to Janny's email about Jamie's 'hot dog' sized growth in his lung. I wondered how something that had obviously been around for so long could go undetected.
315pm: PC is 'Off' and will walk since the rain has left the area.
345 pm: Up Westview to Parkview and Oakmont Pebble Beach through to Bellerive south and then over to Iles. Then east to Chatham and north to Laurel and back around to Pebble Beach and Oakmont...TWO HOURS.
***When I got home I read and listened to some music and decided to take four of the 5 mg edible candies- 20 mg total around 610pm. In the tub from 630 pm to 730 pm and really coming on to it! This is the first time that I've really felt something from edibles. I decided to start '2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY' tonight, so this should be very good.
Watched an hour of '2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY' (Netflix Disc). Then another episode of 'OZARK' (Netflix), and finally an episode of , 'SCHITTS CREEK' (IMDB-TV)
