Up 630 am: Bright, sunny, and windy with temps to mid 60's.

Wrote up 'THE FOOLS IN TOWN ARE ON OUR SIDE' by Ross Thomas for the blog.

***I was surprised by how much more water had seeped into the downstairs area last night. This morning the entire area needed a solid session with the shop vac and the dehumidifier had turned off due to 'a full bucket'. I thought that it was supposed to come out the hose? I spilled the bucket getting it out, but all is well.

Watched, 'THE PLAGUES OF BRESLAU' (Netflix). A brutal murder happens at 6 pm every day for almost a week in a moderate sized Polish city. A woman is protesting her treatment by those in power and a distraught female police detective is being used. Not until the very end is this dark plan revealed. Real good, and very gruesome scenes- man pulled apart by horses, a man stitched inside of a horse's hide and as it dries he is crushed, a guillotine beheading, graphic depiction of an autopsy. Very good film with one of the craziest hairstyles on a female lead that I've ever seen, but it makes sense for her character.

Then watched, 'WHO THE FUCK IS THAT GUY? THE FABULOUS JOURNEY OF MICHAEL ALAGO (Netflix). A profile of a young gay guy from Brooklyn who became an A&R person for some of the biggest names in the rock music business. He was able to see the big names before anyone else, and this is the essence of the job of Artists and Repertoire. He beat alcohol, drugs, and AIDS, and then evolved into a photographer who specializes in musclebound hunks. And after all is said and done, he's still a fan of the music.

Wrote an email to Janny about my surprise of the amount of the Worden Estate check and to tell her to sign on with Hoopla.

215 pm: will read for a while and then hit the streets. A little after 12 pm they came by with the street sweepers and now Westview is sparkling. Added four more albums to the Mp3 player and a long walk later.

430 pm: On the walk. Down Westview, on the golf path and north to Edwards. East to College and south to Vine and west to Walnut and back to Washington Park Panhandle (Williams south) to middle of the park and north to the north side of the panhandle back to Walnut, then on the north side of the park Parkview, Kenyon, Fairway, and back up to 940. TWO HOURS.

In the tub with 'TRUE EVIL' and listened to ART PEPPER and UNCLE ACID & THE DEADBEATS (an excellent album that fuses The Beatles and Black Sabbath).

Began 'DJANGO UNCHAINED' (Netflix). I watched the first two thirds of this almost three hour movie.  A bounty hunter before the Civil War needs the cooperation of a black slave to catch bounty jumpers and, in return, he helps this 'free slave' find his wife who has been sold to the infamous 'Candyland' plantation; with Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, and Don Johnson, directed by Quentin Tarantino. Then watched the season finale of, '#blackAF' (Netflix).
