We 4/15/2020

Up 640 am: Overcast, blustery, and cold, but sunny later- to mid 40's.

Added an album by MOBY, '18', to Google Play and added to Mp3 player.

Watched, 'RED DOG' (Hoopla). A man reviews his life and the deep connections that he has to The Red Dog Saloon, a strip club and biker bar in Oklahoma City, OK. His mom was an exotic dancer there and he was friends and family to many of the crazy and drugged out characters that frequented the bar in the nineteen eighties. A strangely moving portrait of weirdly crude, yet complicated people who have come to terms with the good and bad life choices that they've made.

Then watched, 'I SEE YOU' (Amazon Prime). A really different way of telling a story. The first half of the film is what you think is going on and the second half is what is really going on. Boys are being kidnapped and presumed dead. A woman has cheated on her cop husband and the family is at odds. In the next part of the movie we learn of 'PHROGGING'- kids who stay in houses and the owners are not aware of their presence- 'jumping from pad to pad'. The husband is the kidnapper and a murderer. I really enjoyed this one; with Helen Hunt and Libe Barer (SNEAKY PETE).

Called the dentist to postpone next Tuesday's appointment to the middle of June.

130pm: Some music in the living room (ANDY SIMMONS BAND, ANIMAL COLLECTIVE, and some ancient ANIMALS) and finished 'COGAN'S TRADE' and later another ripped stroll through the neighborhood.

415pm: On the streets and up Westview over to Parkview, Oakmont, Pebble Beach east to Laurel, Laurel east to Park and north to Washington Park. West on the southside of the park and up the hill after the duck pond...had to take a piss. Out the park and up Parkview to Kenyon. Down Fairway and up to 940- A SOLID HOUR AND A HALF; Listened to '18' MOBY and 'Is This It' THE STROKES .

Began a new book by Michael Connelly, but switched to 'EARTHLY POSSESSIONS' by Anne Tyler. Needed a switch from the Crime/ Police Procedurals.

In the tub with ANNE TYLER and listened to ALLEN TOUSSAINT and THE ALLMAN BROTHERS LIVE.

Watched, 'POINT AND SHOOT- AN AMERICAN TRAVELER DOCUMENTS THE LIBYAN REVOLUTION' (Kanopy). A pampered young man in his twenties from Baltimore seems obsessed with 'Manhood'. He takes a motorcycle trip to all the hot spots in the middle east, falls in love with Libya, and a few years later fights with freedom fighters in their revolution. The guy seemed so weird that maybe it actually have happened the way he says.

Then about fifteen minutes of a comedy stand-up: ILIZA SHLESINGER: ELDER MILLENNIAL (Netflix).

And, the next episode in Season 1 of, 'HELL'S KITCHEN' (Amazon Prime). Blue Team and Red Team are in competition again with Chef Ramsey bullying one and all.

Finally, the next episode of, 'SCHITT'S CREEK' (IMDB-TV). 'The Cabin'. The mayor loans his 'country cabin' and, of course, they go to the wrong cabin. And, sister and brother host a small party with the townies.
