Up 630 am: Partly cloudy with temps to about 70.
Checked on the albums that I downloaded to the Mp3 player yesterday, and it looks like it's all there. I forgot that some of the albums are just single files of forty-five minutes.
Watched, 'NORTH FACE' (Hoopla). Edge of your seat excitement, but a strange story-line. Both of the climbers die during the unsuccessful ascent and gives new meaning to the phrase, "hang in there". Maybe the best movie about 'Failure' that I've ever seen.
Then watched, 'FUNNY HA HA' (Amazon Prime). A film profile of a young girl a couple of years out of college with her awkward romantic involvements and less than suitable temp jobs. 'Mumblecore' was not mentioned, but this is the essence of that genre.
***Gave the Illinois Unclaimed Property another shot and they are to send me an email within two days. I seem to have lost the 'lost dividend' from AG Edwards, but I still have one with ATT.
***Bored and wrote a short review of 'NORTH FACE' for IMDB.
145 pm: PC is 'Off' and reading. Walk later.
345 pm on the walk: Down Westview and over to the golf course path...Near the club house I ran into a guy admitting people and I asked if it was OK to walk on the paths; not really, at your own risk and I guess I won't...Over to Edwards and east to College. South to South Grand then to Walnut and north to the panhandle. Down Williams Blvd. on the south side then back east and back down the south side of the panhandle again. Through the park on the north side, Parkview, Kenyon, and down to 940: TWO HOURS; Mp3- THE SILOS, THE PONTIAC BROTHERS, and THE DIRTBOMBS.
Did the Weekly Cleaning and then in the tub with
HP LOVECRAFT and CHICAGO and more TRUE EVIL.
Watched the next 'OZARK' (Netflix).
Then an episode of, 'THE INNOCENCE FILES' (Netflix). Two cases of black men in Mississippi convicted of life for the rape and murder of small girls. The 'bite mark evidence' was what clinched their cases and it was shown that the entire premise of forensic dentistry was deeply flawed.
And finally an episode of, 'COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE' (Netflix). Robert Klein.
