Up 710am. Partly sunny and humid to the upper 80s. Thunderstorms predicted and a storm raced through about 4pm. Nothing violent, and will just make the grass greener and the flowers bloom  faster and the flowers are exploding like mad. This is about the third or fourth wave of color. 

THE SIDEWALKS OF NEW YORK. Ed Burns stars and directs. Interviews with a few 'typical' New Yorkers provide story-lines about love, sex, and personal relationships. Not bad; with Edward Burns, Dennis Farina, Heather Graham, Brittany Murphy, and Stanley Tucci.

Went for the walk before the rains hit later this afternoon.

1115am.On the walk. Lawrence, Edwards. South on New, Henrietta across South Grand on Holmes. West on Laurel across Chatham. Country Club, Oakmont, Parkview and down to 940.2 HOURS. Mp3. BILLY COBHAM.. Focus.. DIAMOND DOGS.. BOWIE, Armed Forces.. ELVIS.

READ When God Was A Rabbit listened to tapes downstairs. PETER HOLSAPPLE, The Mekons- 'Me'. This was one of Chris's tapes that Cindy gave me and I had never heard this Mekons album- A pleasant surprise. 

520pm: Fired up the living room PC and wrote 'The Wrap' and sent it off.  Spent far longer than I intended, and now it's time to hit the tub.

7pm. In tub reading 'Rabbit' and listening to HANOI ROCKS, CAPTAIN BEEFHEART AND HIS MAGIC BAND.

Watched, 'LAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI JUKES' (Amazon Prime). Watched almost an hour until it evolved into an ad for The Subway Lounge'- Jackson, MS. Live acts from the neighborhood take the stage at this legendary Blues Joint. Not bad. 

Then the next episode of, THE SEARCH' (Netflix). How could the body of a four year old remain 'unfound' in her bed for nine days in a house full of people? And most important, how could the bottom sheet be removed from her bed by the authorities and her body not be noticed?

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
