Up 715am: Cloudy and humid to mid 80's.
Watched 'THE REPUBLIC OF TWO' (IMDB-TV). 43" into the film.

905 am: PC is 'Off' and preparing for a visit to the pot shop between 930-10am.

***My nicest visit so far. I got two eighths, parked out front, and was in and out in less than ten minutes.

Smoked a half bowl at 10am and then finished, 'THE REPUBLIC OF TWO' (IMDB-TV). A very different kind of romantic 'dramedy' in that it was absolutely devoid of sentimentality. Two people in love, yet they cannot seem to connect. The guy has lost all of his undergraduate work and failed to be accepted for medical school and the girl hasn't yet settled on a professional career. I didn't know what was going to happen next because the entire tone was so 'Un-Hollywood'. Well worth a look.

Then watched the first four episodes of, 'THE SEARCH' (Netflix- six 45" episodes).  The series is ideal for 'binge watching'.After missing for eight days a four year old girl is found dead, wrapped in sheets between the wall and her bed. The death was ruled accidental, but...

3pm: PC is 'Off' and will get in an early walk and then do the Weekly Cleaning. 

335PM.ON THE STREET. Up to Parkview to Wash Pk. South side. Wiggins south to Outer Park. East to Holmes. North, Walnut, Williams frontage through the park Parkview down to 940. EXACTLY 2 HRS. Mp3. YO LA TENGO, DRIVE BY TRUCKERS. 

Home for Weekly Cleaning. In the tub with SWEET SOUL MUSIC- Peter Guralnick. Listened to SAM AND DAVE, SAM Cooke, SPOONER OLDHAM. 

Watched, 'PARTY MONSTER- MICHAEL ALIG and THE ANGEL OF DEATH' (YouTube- 56"). A fantastic companion piece to, 'PARTY MONSTER'. Thank you YouTube!

Then a YouTube interview with George Carlin. A deep and thoughtful man. These days we listen to our comedians and laugh at our politicians.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
