Up 630am: Much cooler, overcast, and rain through late morning- to only mid 70's.
Watched 'EARTHQUAKE BIRD' (Netflix). A repressed western Japanese translator meets a local photographer and they begin an affair. But he seems to be attracted to her friend and maybe he's a psychopath and kills her friend. Lots of melodrama, but no pay off and the whole experience ends on a dull note. Such a waste of the acting talent of Alicia Vikander ('EX MACHINA') and Riley Keough ('AMERICAN HONEY').
Then I watched 'I'M TALKING TO YOU' (Amazon Prime). 'A Day In The Life' of Two Garda cops who are assigned to monitor traffic on the beltway around Dublin, Ireland. Social issues are raised, but it's hard to be serious if the two leads remind the viewer so much of Laurel and Hardy.
1220Pm: Got up too early so I'll read/nap for a while and then either walk or bike to the credit union to deposit the check.
220pm. After reading/nap I went on the treadmill for FIVE AND A HALF MILES. Watched true crime on YouTube.
430-505pm biked to the night deposit at the credit union to drop off the check. I'm wondering if I put it in the correct slot. Why do they make it so fucking hard? Listened to 'Lodger' ~ BOWIE.
Reading Russo in the living room and listening to WILL~FM.
In the tub with STRAIGHT MAN and listening to THE BLACK KEYS, THE ESSENTIAL LOU REED, and listened to Joe Rogan interview Rob Zombie.
Watched Netflix disc 'THE JESUS ROLL'. Absolutely, not what I was expecting! The first 'sexually fluid' main-street film that I've ever scene. '3 Ways' with two men and a woman, and I'm shocked that none of the reviews mentioned this is a very different manner from how sex is usually presented; with John Turturro, Bobby Cannavale, Audrey Tautou, Susan Sarandon, and Jon Hamm.
Then watched the first episode of season 1 of 'THE FEED' (Amazon Prime). 'The Feed' is a mega-corporation in the near future that has introduced a cyborg implant for most of the population that unites all users' thoughts, dreams, and emotions. And then the system breaks down. I'll be watching more of this series.
