Up 640am: Partly sunny with a slight chance of rain late this afternoon- to low 80's. Not a single drop fell.

Watched 'AMORES PERROS' (Amazon Prime). This is one of my favorite films and the title translates to 'Love Dogs'. I didn't realize this film is twenty years old!

Rewatched 'THE JESUS ROLLS'. Based on the book by Bertrand Blier 'Les Valseuses'.

Storms are moving in by 415pm, so I shut it down to get in the walk.

130PM...Up and over to Fairway, east on Monroe to Walgreens PO box, Washington, and South on Glenwood, to Laurel, over to Wash. Pk. South side, Parkview and down to 940. JUST OVER 2 HRS... MP3. 'Hard' ~ GANG OF FOUR, KING CRIMSON, 'Will The Wolf Survive' ~ LOS LOBOS, 'HUNKY Dory' ~ BOWIE. 

Listening to tapes in the living room and reading. LIVE  Arthur Lee's LOVE, THE PINE VALLEY COSMONAUTS. I finished 'STRAIGHT Man... Great read! 

Accomplished 'The Weekly Cleaning' and in the tub and began 'MODEL BEHAVIOR' ~ Jay McInerney and listening to 'Who' s Next',  ST. PAUL AND THE BROKEN BONES,  then more of ROB ZOMBIE on Joe Rogan Experience. 

Watched the next episode of 'LAST CHANCE U- The Town' (Netflix). A community college in Oakland, CA and its football team. Rents are a few thousand dollars a month and many students drive two hours to get to school some leaving home as early as 530am. to drive on the LA freeways. Most have to work minimum wage jobs to pay for the schooling. Then another 'THE FEED' (Amazon Prime). A baby is 'implanted' with 'The Feed' in the womb.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. Not bad, but close, however excellent and creative charcoal drawings as the 'hints' to Eckhart's character.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
