Up 640am: Mostly sunny and humid- mid 80's.

Searched Hoopla for more titles to borrow before they reach the limit.

Watched 'CHILD 44' (Hoopla). A senior party official in Stalinist Russia  uncovers dozens of very similar murders of young boys, but there is no will to apprehend the killer because there is no murder in  Communism because murder is a disease that occurs only under Capitalism; with Tom Hardy, Joel Kinnaman, Noomi Rapace, Vincient Cassel, Paddy Considine, and Gary Oldman.

Then watched 'RUDEBOY: THE STORY OF TROJAN RECORDS' (Kanopy).  As I was trying to write a response in the comments section I noticed that I wrote something when I saw the film a month ago. Everybody knows the music of Bob Marley and Toots, yet the early Trojan stuff seems to have been forgotten. And, I'm seeking it out on YouTube. 

135pm: The lawn service began mowing at Boozer's old house. 

145pm: PC is 'Off' and the plan is to bike to Lincoln Park and walk the area. But, I decided to just walk. Read till 4pm.

Watched 'BANANA SPLIT' (Netflix). In the summer before going away to college two California girls develop a close friendship, but one of them is fucking the other's ex. The overall theme is that 'the last summer before college feels like your high school friends will be with you forever, but really it's just a fleeting moment in time'. A very different film.

Then watched the next episode of 'SELLING SUNSET- The Red Engagement Party' (Netflix).

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'.  Th 10/2/25 8am (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse). 10am (1-B: Citrus Mac). 1220pm (2-LB: Citrus Mac). 535pm (1-LB: Citrus Mac). 810pm (1-LB: Diablo's Hearse).  Up 715am: {took a dump at 4am}. Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80". Borrowed 'HOLY COW' and 'TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH' from Hoopla to meet my quota for September. Watched 'HOLY COW' (Hoopla). A troubled teen and his young sister try to make a go of it on their farmstead dairy after their father dies. It's got a strange tone and far from an average 'coming of age' tale. Set in far eastern France near the rural villages of Pimorin and Orgelet which are about 75 miles west of Geneva, Switzerland.
