 Su 9/13/20

Up 725am: Partly cloudy with temps to the upper 70's.

I did the laundry and emptied the cat box. Saturday was so jammed that I forgot to do it.

Watched Netflix disc 'MARAUDERS'. The plot is so convoluted that it's laughable, yet still worth a look in a Pulp Fiction/Graphic novel kind of way; with Adrian Grenier (ENTOURAGE), Dave Bautista (Professional Wrestler), Christopher Meloni (He starred in 'HAPPY!'- A very surreal Netflix series about a hit-man with an imaginary friend. That was great and 'MARAUDERS' was just as good but in a different way. The former, he's a whack-job and in the latter, he's a hard-nosed FBI agent).

Then watched 'TRUE COLORS'. James Spader and John Cusack play against 'type'. Spader is the ethical guy and Cusack is the silver tongued rogue and they trade quips against the backdrop of  congressional politics during the late 80's.  Roger Ebert didn't like it, but I kind of dug it. Another ode to fashion and culture of the 80's; also with Imogen Stubbs, Mandy Patinkin, and Richard Widmark's last film role.

245pm: Began Fall Lawn Care 2020.  I want to cut down the flowers in the front and see what kind of dent I can make on the back flower beds...And, mow the lawn.

3~415pm. Front walk flower bed mowed and entire lawn cut, some raking in back, cut back some of the weeds at Virgin Mary bed and Santa Monk bed.

430pm...Wash.Pk., Wiggins, south and Bates/Lincoln thru park and Lincoln, then west on Monroe. Dropped Netflix disc in mail box and got 2 loaves of bread, $1.69 per. Home via Chatham, Fairway and up to 940..ONE HOUR 45 MINS... Mp3.. 1988 Montreux Jazz Fest- Carlos Santana/ Wayne Shorter.  Miles-' A TRIBUTE TO JACK JOHNSON', THE BEST OF LUNA.

Did an abbreviated Weekly Cleaning {not 100% on dusting}, then in the tub with 'TULSA' and listened to JAKI BYARD, ELVIN JONES, JOE HENDERSON.

Watched 'THE SOCIAL DILEMMA' (Netflix). A cautionary tale about Artificial Intelligence and Social Media. The super-computers are smarter than humans and getting smarter by the millisecond. "If it's free and you can't identify the product, then you are the product". Interesting Point: If data is a most important and lucrative item of the current economy, why can't it be taxed?
