Presidential election results are still not in. At 810am Biden has 238 in the electoral college and Trump has 213.
Up 710am: Mostly sunny and breezy with temps to low 70's.
Buddy seems to be his normal self, but the litter box is dry of urine. Since the vet mentioned that he's lost some weight I decided to add the medicine to his Frisky canned food. He ate the drops and the food with no problem. I'll give him another quarter of Frisky over the next hour or so.
***Late this afternoon, feed Buddy the rest of the Frisky portion.
I watched 'INVISIBLE LIFE' (Amazon Prime). Set in 1950's Rio de Janeiro where two sisters are forever separated because one got pregnant and their father threw her out and the other fled the country to be with a Greek sailor. Their father prevented all communication between the sisters and for the rest of their lives they wondered what it would have been like had they remained close. It's a compelling romantic melodrama. The film won 29 international awards and was nominated for 35 others.
105pm: Went for an early walk. Fairway, Chatham, Wash.Pk, south side and south on Wiggins, at Laurel east on Leland, across MacArthur, Walnut, Williams Blvd. west, up the hill, Parkview and down to 940. AN HOUR AND THIRTY FIVE MINUTES...Mp3...'Tone Dialing'- ORNETTE COLEMAN, 'The Sweetest Punch'- Bill Frisell's companion piece to Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach's cd 'PAINTED FROM MEMORY'.
I read 'BETWEEN TWO RIVERS' for 45" in the living room and listened to Live Grateful Dead.
Smoked a bowl and watched 'ELIZABETH BLUE' (Amazon Prime). A profile of a young woman with severe mental illness who has a very loving fiancé who wants their relationship to survive at all costs.
I want to get on the treadmill for three more miles so I saved the last twenty minutes for later.
525pm: On the treadmill...3 MILES... Watched GINGER with DOUG STANHOPE.
In the tub with BETWEEN TWO RIVERS, but first watched a ten minute YouTube video of DOUG STANHOPE'S COMPOUND IN BISBEE, AZ. Listening to RYAN ADAMS~ '1989', RY COODER~'THE PRODIGAL SON'.
Watched the next episode of 'LEAH REMINI: SCIENTOLOGY AND THE AFTERMATH' (Netflix).
Then I watched the last half hour of 'ELIZABETH BLUE' (Netflix). I'm really glad I saw this through to the end because the last reel was a doozy. Elizabeth's wonderful boyfriend was all in her mind and she was suffering from acute schizophrenia which seemed to be impacted by the death of her father. A really 'daring' Independent.
