Up 850am: Partly sunny and windy with temps to about 50. Temperatures will be falling all week and highs only in the twenties on Thursday and Friday.

I wrote 'The Wrap', sent it to Janny, and made an entry in my book blog on 'TONY & SUSAN' by Austin Wright. I had written extensively about the book on Oct 3, 2016 and I just left a note to check that out. I finished it the day after Bo's first birthday party.

I watched 'SOUND OF METAL' (Amazon Prime). One of last year's finest films. Less about being a punk rock drummer and more about facing and accepting a very serious life change. The Deaf Community does not see the absence of hearing as a disability. When Rueben enters the rehab unit he is told that they are not trying to fix his ears, but they are trying to fix his mind so that he can live without hearing. Would anyone seriously prefer to be deaf- especially a musician?

140pm: On The Treadmill and did FOUR MILES  before the computer guy arrives; 3-330PM. Watched a JOE ROGAN interview with a Mexican security guy, Ed Calderon. 

Read 'Charming Billy' in the living room and the tech arrived at 330pm. 415pm- He left to take the PC to BLH because of the warranty. Called back and the motherboard is fried, but I got credit on the old PC. I had him install a Solid State; 'faster brain'. Around $300 for the new system. He'll be back at 3pm on Wednesday to install.

Watched 'CONNY PLANK- The Potential of Noise' (Amazon Prime). A decent bio of Conny Plank, the West German record producer and musician who engineered the 'Krautrock Genre'; Kraftwerk, Harmonia, Eurythmics, and Ultravox. His custom made studio and revolutionary mixing board were not the least of his achievements. 

And then half of the very first episode of 'RAY DONOVAN' (Amazon Prime). Season I is available to the end of the month. I had almost forgotten how good this series was.

We 8/15/18 Up 820am; overcast, clammy, and threatening. Rain predicted all day and tomorrow- none so far; 915am. (All day and barely a sprinkle- it was happening all around us, but nothing here) Watched  'SUSPECT ZERO' (Amazon Prime) Aaron Eckhart/ Ben Kingsley/ Carrie Anne Moss.  Eckhart plays a disgraced FBI agent who is being fed information by a serial killer. Seems to be Ben Kingsley, but he's not the killer, he's an ex-agent who can do 'remote viewing'. We 4/23/25- Gummy 645am {I took 1/4 of a 200 mg of 'DIET SMOKE' gummy: 50 mg total}. 650am (1-LB: Cookie Bread). 910am (1/2-LB: Cookie Bread).  1220pm (1-LB: Panama Punch). 535pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker). 815pm (1-LB: Permanent Marker).  Up 545am: A mix of suny & clouds with temps to about 80. Finished 'SIGNS' (Netflix). Clearly the drama hasn't ended, and I hope there will be infinite new seasons. {No such luck. I couldn't find anything about a third season}.
