Tu 12/1/20- His Appetite Is Back!

Tu 12/1/20- His Appetite Is Back!

***Buddy is almost back to his 'normal' self- hungry and begging for food at every opportunity. He seems to be gaining weight, but that might be wishful thinking.

Up 815am: Bright and sunny with temps in the upper 30's.

I wrote up 'GUILTY AS SIN' by Tami Hoag for the blog.

I made an appointment for an oil change at Green on Dirksen for 2pm today. The oil change is free and I'll pay for a tire rotation.

Green Hyundai:

I watched 'RUST CREEK' (Netflix). Why you should never rely on GPS. Would you rather have a room full of pennies or a stack of pennies as tall as the Empire State Building?

1215pm: On the treadmill for a walk of TWO MILES and I watched 'NOTHING STAYS THE SAME: The Story of The Saxon Pub (Amazon Prime). A documentary about a legendary music club in Austin, Texas.

I arrived at Green on Dirksen about 140pm and they got me right in for my 2pm appointment. I walked across the street to Penney's and bought two XL sweaters for me: $50. Nice and big. I got back to Green in an hour and the car was completed...and they gave it a free car wash. Their car wash is closed to the public because of COVID, but they use it for service customers. The paperwork says that they did a complete inspection and everything looks like it's okey doke for the coming winter.

Home by 3pm...Buddy asleep in my chair, but woke right up for another portion of Frisky's.

I watched the Netflix disc 'MISS YOU ALREADY'. This might have been delivered yesterday or there was an early delivery this morning. Our 'Hipster Mailman' hasn't been on the route in a few days...vacation?

It's a kind of weepy movie of female friendship. One of the friends is dying of cancer and the other is trying to get pregnant. A minor theme is 'WUTHERING HEIGHTS' and The English Moors...Strange tones, dark and funny; with Toni Collette, Drew Barrymore, Dominic Cooper, and Paddy Considine.

550pm: Treadmill... THREE MILES and finished the SAXON PUB doc and watched a SARAH SILVERMAN podcast.

In the tub with 'THE LIAR'... I gave up and ran out of gas on the novel and switched to 'THE GOLDEN MAN' ~ PK DICK ANTHOLOGY and listening to ORNETTE COLEMAN, and finished the SARAH SILVERMAN podcast.

I watched 'DEAD MAN'S SHOES' (Amazon Prime). A brutal and bloody Revenge Film about a man who takes savage and barbaric revenge after he learns that his mentally challenged younger brother was both psychologically and sexually abused by a gang from the local English village; the second film of the day to star Paddy Considine.
