Up 745am: Bright, breezy and temps to just above 40.
Watched Netflix disc 'MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN'. A kind of soap opera about how the Internet has affected a cross section of people in an upscale American suburban community. An excellent cast, yet a bit on the shallow side, although some of the ideas or viewpoints are well worth considering; with Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner, Rosemarie DeWitt, Judy Greer, Dean Norris (BREAKING BAD), Timothee Chalamet, and narrated by Emma Thompson.
1pm: My first outside walk in over a week...maybe more. Edwards to the Monroe PO to mail back the two Netflix discs and back. I took a stroll on the path through the Pasfield Golf Course on the way back.
***National Guard at Edwards at Boones Saloon and over to 2nd in front of the capitol. I walked back along Jefferson in front of the northside of the capitol. 2 guardsmen and 2 cop cars. Nobody around except the guards...AN HOUR AND FIFTY MINUTES...
I finished 'FRANNY AND ZOOEY' - J. D. Salinger and wrote it up for the blog.
Watched 'LOST ANGELAS' (Amazon Prime). Only slightly better than a student film, but it did win an award for the best picture produced for under a hundred grand. A first-time Hollywood screenwriter and his girlfriend team up with a crazy director and mayhem ensues. The plot was too complex to explain and I wasn't into it.
ON THE TREADMILL...ONE MILE... Began JOE ROGAN with ANDREW SCHULZ.
In the tub with GALATEA 2.2 and listening to ART BLAKELY.
Watched the last episode of 'NIGHT STALKER: The Hunt For A Serial Killer' (Netflix). The last episode seems to make far too much about this guy's 'powerfully satanic and evil' persona. What they don't talk much about his the fact that Ramirez might have been just smart enough to ride his fifteen minutes of fame for all it was worth. And history proves him correct.
And then another episode of 'BLING EMPIRE' (Netflix). A Chinese billionaire couple agonize over having a surrogate birth. A stupid series and the equal to anything on Bravo, but very habit forming.
