Up 9am: Overcast and light snow predicted to begin this afternoon- Temps only to upper teens.

I shoveled two or three inches of powdery snow off the walk and driveway; 15".

Watched 'SURVIVOR' (Hoopla). A very pedestrian International Thriller about a female immigration? agent who notices a group of questionable characters being allowed into the country by her superior. Her boss is involved in a conspiracy to explode a bomb in Times Square during the New Year's Eve celebration; with Milla Jovovich, Dylan McDermott, Pierce Brosnan, and Robert Forster. Much of the action takes place in London.

***Just before 1pm I called Brewer to ask for a refill and also got a callback for Buddy's lethargic behavior. The doctor might suggest a change in the dosage or a visit to the vet.

130pm: ON THE TREADMILL...4 Miles and finished Rogan's interview with YANNI PAPPAS. 

Finished 'TALK TALK' and was confused by the ending. Did the deaf heroine stay with her boyfriend? Began 'FEAR OF FLYING' ~ Erica Jong. 

545pm: Dr. Kirk called... "2 twists of the pen or 1 twist".... I'll pick up the pen tomorrow and I think I'd like to have someone show me exactly what 'a single dose' looks like. I'm going to ask if this can be done when I pick up the gel pen tomorrow. However, it could be that Buddy is reacting to the drug the way that he is supposed to. His huge appetite was a symptom of his problem, but I thought it was part of his upbeat personality.  

In the tub with JONG and listening to LESTER YOUNG, LIVE MC5, Live Lucinda Williams at The Fillmore. 

Watched another episode and a half of 'THE SINNER' (Netflix). This is truly a weird tale and Pullman is mesmerizing with the grimaces and twitches. I can't wait to see how this ends.

Finally, another episode of 'HISTORY OF SWEAR WORDS'- "BITCH" (Netflix). It's a word that is insulting to both sexes. 'Bitch' said to a man means they are weak and feminine and 'Bitch' said to a woman means they are too assertive and masculine.

Still unseasonably warm with a mix of sun & clouds. Watched 'MAGPIE' (Kanopy- borrowed 2 days ago).  It's basically a tale of 'Adultery & Revenge' although this isn't made clear until the last few minutes of the film. A wealthy couple live in a modern villa in the English countryside. He's a successful author, she is a housewife (she used to be in publishing) and their young daughter is co-starring in a big budget film that's being shot  near their home. Dad falls 'in lust' for the female star of the film, but his wife is several moves ahead. "69" Metascore and I would boost that to "80".
