Mo 3/1/21- New Bathroom Faucet
Mo 3/1/21
1020am. 505pm. 915pm.
Up 710am: Bright and sunny with temps to mid 40's.
Replaced batteries in 3 of the front garden lights (and one more 730am Tues. morning).
Spent time screwing with 'Local Handyman Pros' (out of Boston, MA?) and 'Home Advisor'. They want me to schedule an appointment before we agree on a price?
Opened a new eighth: L'Orange and added White Widow to shake.
Watched 'TULSA' (Hoopla- I didn't realize that this was a Christian based production). This might be the worst movie I've ever seen. Nothing about the story or the characters are even close to reality. There is no way that any state agency would hand over a kid to a guy like Tommy. And how could a nine year old who got hit by a bus and in intensive care be able to attend a Father/Daughter Dance? Shot in and around Augusta, GA.
10am called:
Local guy at 217 553 5856 said $75 and he'll call back.
Tiger Plumbing will come out tomorrow at 1pm for an estimate or they might be able to do the job as well.
1220pm: I called the 'seventy-five dollar guy' and he'll drop by around 3pm today. I would imagine that anybody could beat Tiger's prices.
130pm: ON THE TREADMILL...4 Miles more ROGAN. Plumber called from my front porch just as I finished. 245pm-315pm;$75. He said his son would do the removal of the pine branches and trim the bushes in back; $100-150.
Reading 'WINTER' in the living room.
510pm a bong and Washington Park; south side, panhandle to Walnut, Williams Blvd., up the hill, Parkview, Kenyon and down to 940'- One Hour and 20". Beautiful evening light in the sky and my garden lights are blazing!
In the tub with 'WINTER' and listening to EDDIE HENDERSON.
Watched Netflix disc 'UNDER THE VOLCANO'. I thought that I'd like this more than I did. Set in Mexico on The Day Of The Dead- 1938. The ex-British consulate to Mexico is a drunk and he drinks, pontificates, speechifies, and generally makes an ass of himself. His ex-wife has returned and wants to give the marriage another chance, his idealistic half-brother is on the scene, yet the drunken British consul is too far gone; with Albert Finney and Jacqueline Bisset.
